R. Lyon’s pedagogy is centered around the goal of empowering creative storytellers by helping them to trust their  intuition and free the story that is already inside of them.  He takes the overly technical or contrasting theories of story structure and makes them accessible - playful.  The lessons are grounded and interactive, and --most importantly-- applicable. His philosophy is guided by the belief that art, like the experience of life, is an unknowable mystery and all of us are here to explore that Great Mystery together— every voice is needed, desired, and uniquely beautiful.
